Canton Mayor, Lou Ann Everett, Kicks Off the 2nd Annual Fundraiser at Boot Hill

Boot Hill Restaurant & Entertainment Venue in Canton, Texas kicked off  its 3rd annual fundraiser benefiting  the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial and Museum, coincident with National PTSD Awareness Month in June.

Boot Hill and The Dockside Cottages collected donations through Veteran’s Day,  November 11th, 2021.

Thanks to our wonderful guests and patrons, we all raised $2024, meeting our goal and we distributed 100% of donations to the Van Zandt County Veteran’s Memorial & Museum!

During each of the Canton First Monday Trade Days Weekends, Boot Hill  celebrated Veterans and First Responders in a weekend-long celebration by offering a 20% discount to Veterans and First Responders!

During all consecutive Canton First Monday Trade Days weekends, there was live free entertainment including live, free music on Friday evenings and on Saturday evenings we host the “Best Karaoke in East Texas”, with prizes and giveaways.
